I try to do as much pro bono work as possible. At least a couple times a month I offer free services to fellow authors in the communities I belong to. The resources I use for this and the work hours I put into it are at my expense, and as a freelancer, that can sometimes hurt. I want to keep doing as much as I can to help up-and-comers, but I am limited by my resources.
